It is important  that you seek out reputable spas for your couples massage. Do not be fooled by “massage parlours”. Make sure when you do your booking that you have a licensed, certified or registered massage therapist giving the massage.

This way you might be able to get reimbusred if you have a benefits package from work that covers massagetherapy. You may also want to check with your states’ or provinces’ governing website to make sure the massage therapist is legitimate. In the province of ontario its the CMTO .

Be aware of massage places open to the wee hours in the night. Legitimate places tendto be open until 8 or 9pm the latest.
